The Mystic  Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans Bal Masque XXIV 
'"Apollo's Destination Vacation" - January 10, 2027
The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans will present its 24th Bal Masque, "Apollo: Destination Vacation," January 10, 2027, at the Four Columns in Harvey on the westbank of the New Orleans metro area.
The ball will honor our reigning Queen Apollo New Orleans XXIII Monique Autin Breaux and culminate in the presentation of King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXIV to preside over the remainder of the 2027 Mardi Gras season.
With an elegant new venue and a Sunday night ball to kick off the Mardi Gras season, our captain, co-captains, lieutenants, and krewe members promise you're still going to enjoy the distinctive "Apollo twist" as we entertain you throughout the night. 
You'll get to enjoy everything from Buckingham Palace to Graceland, as well as New York City, Amsterdam, Paris, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Las Vegas, New Orleans, ... and much more.

General Information for Our Ball:
  • ​ATTIRE: Full formal. Tux or evening gown required for entry. Visiting Royalty are welcome to wear crowns and sashes.
  • MENU: Complimentary party food will be available prior to and during the tableau provided by Nola DeeLights (jambalaya, chicken pasta, dips, deviled eggs, etc.).  After the tableau, a dessert bar with king cakes and other goodies, as well as water and coffee service, will get you ready to dance until the clock strikes midnight!
  • DRINKS: Cash bars provided by venue. Free coffee and water service with dessert bar after tableau. Absolutely no outside beverages allowed!
  • SCHEDULE: Doors open for food and cocktails at 6:00 p.m. Tableau begins at 7:30 p.m. (All guests should plan to be seated before the tableau begins, although food service will continue throughout the night... so feel free to go back to the buffet or bar. Thanks.)
  • AGE REQUIREMENTS: Guests must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink, as per applicable liquor laws. 
  • HOTEL INFORMATION: We do not have a specific room block for this year's ball, but there are a number of nearby hotels, including one directly across the Expressway from the Four Columns and a variety of others on the Westbank or in the New Orleans metro area. 
  • PARKING: Free parking is available in the paved lot and the grassy area adjacent to the Four Columns. 
  • THE FINE PRINT:  There can be inherent risks (particularly as they relate to the spread of Covid 19 and other diseases) in attending an event such as this one. Please follow current guidance regarding any safety protocols, such as wearing masks, if applicable at the time of the ball. By attending this event, all guests agree to release and indemnify the Four Columns, the Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans, and all of their representatives from any loss, damages, illness, or injury related to participating in the event and waive all rights to bring claims related thereto.
