"Apollo Treks Across America" - January 18, 2025
The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans presented our 22nd Bal Masque, "Apollo Treks Across America," on January 18, 2025, at the historic Carver Theater in New Orleans.
With an exciting venue and a growing Krewe, the ball offered fun for everyone as krewe members and friends presented more than 20 costumes inspired by U.S. landmarks across the country -- all with a distinctive Apollo twist. From New York to San Francisco and Los Angeles, there was everything from a special "Good Morning" to Baltimore to Chicago, a Georgia Peach, Idaho Potatoes, Rolling on the River, Muskogee, Miami, the Colorado Rockies, and much more. There even were a few Rest Stops, Detours, and Curves along the way.
Honoring our reigning King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXI Dale Bowling and Sheeya Mann, the ball culminated with the presentation of King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXII Jake Stout and Gia GiaVanni.
Approximately 250 guests enjoyed the evening food, fun and friends highlighted by great costumes and fun table scapes provided by members and friends.
